The "NIGHTS program BRIGANTE - Dedicated to Michelina Di Cesare" 6th edition, to be held in homes Troiano (Pescara-motor area)
5 to 7 August 2016is richer every year. A real review about the world of the robbers, the Two Sicilies and Bourbon.
The exhibition, organized as usual by the historical research and traditionalist Fontevecchia, proposes presentation of volumes historical theme, theater, debates, film screenings, music, food and wine with an emphasis on local organic produce.
The event,
It is in three days, Is held in cooperation with local authorities (who have given their legal aid) and the recognition by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Arts and Culture with which it was produced the play "Trial of Frankie" in collaboration with the Chieti State Archive which houses the "Bourbon Fund". Still on the theater, it will premiere in Abruzzo, the spectacle of
Tweety Nuzzolese, Theatre dell'Osso of Naples "Regine sisters: Marie Antoinette and Maria Carolina. Naples and Paris."
The 2016 edition will propose the
shows the fortress of Pescara, Commissioned by Charles V in 1510, and from which, in 1566, during the Battle of Pescara, was repulsed the assault of 105 Turkish galleys from the Duke of Acquaviva. The documents relating to the fortress come from the archives of the state of Madrid, Vienna, Naples and Rome, while the research was carried out by the historian Licio Di Biase, Director dell'Aurum of Pescara. The fort was unfortunately dismantled in late '800 and early' 900 to make room for the growth of the city. E 'remained the part called "Bath Bourbon" that housed the cells of prisoners and where, today, is situated the Museum of the People of Abruzzo.
As for the book publishing part indicates the presence of
Gigi Di Fiore Il Mattino, author of the most important books on the mafia phenomenon and the facts related to the conquest of the Two Sicilies and Marco Patricelli Il Tempo, author of essays relating to World War II. Will host, during the three days, even Ettore Beggiato who will present the relative volume of the plebiscite of annexation of Venice to the Kingdom of Italy,
Maria Scerrato with Broom Flowers, the Pino Ippolito Armijo scholar with the essay The political brigandage in the Two Sicilies,
Gianvito Armenise and the economist
Vincenzo Gulì.
There will be space for two screenings, the first relating to the history of Pescara with music by Ennio Morricone and the second on the 46th traditionalist gathering of Civitella del Tronto.
The three evenings, where you can dine with products supplied by local farmers, all in organic farming regime, will be enriched by as many concerts of pinches, tarantula and tummurriata.
Health care is ensured by the Brotherhood of Mercy to be displaced an ambulance with paramedical staff for emergencies and will attend the Civil Defence for lane assistance.
