The Pulcinella di Fontevecchia awarded with the Ambassador of Smile 2020 recognition

The usual appointment with the Ambassador of Smile Award is back, conceived by the multifaceted artist Angelo Iannelli , already known with the nickname of Ambassador of Smiles for his social commitment.

Saturday 26 September we will be in Naples with the Pulcinella di Fontevecchia, together with the friends of Camminando Insieme di Chieti who have always shared the path of protecting popular traditions, to open the event dedicated to the most famous mask in the world and collect the prestigious award. "Ambassador of Smiles", now in its seventh edition, organized by the Vesuvius association.

Each edition of the Prize is dedicated to the personalities who have given prestige to the city of Naples. The 2020 edition wants to remember the symbolic figure of Naples: Pulcinella, the most famous mask in the world, approaching the stages for an upcoming nomination of "Pulcinella" as a Unesco Heritage and as an intangible asset of which Fontevecchia and Camminando Insieme have promoted by signing the specific request formulated by Professor Domenico Scafoglio, professor of Cultural Anthropology at the Faculty of Education at the University of Salerno.

The character is played by the founder of the event Angelo Iannelli, who more than anyone has managed to make it current through the social. The event has always been held with great success and acclaim in the Courtyard of the Maschio Angioino in Naples in the presence of personalities from the Art, Social Culture, Church and Institutions.

During the ceremony, the characters who have given prestige and donated their art to the less fortunate will be rewarded. New entries are expected for this edition, for an event that has become one of the most popular in Italy for its motivation and simplicity.
